This filter separates water from fuel as it removes other impurities fuel contaminated with water can result in poor engine performance, stalling and damage to fuel system components.
Mercury filters feature a metal shell that is over 50% thicker than conventional filters with a durable powder coat paint finish to resist corrosion - even in salt water environments.
Epoxy coated internal surface resist rust caused by exposure to water captured within the filter.

Water Separating Fuel Filter Kit:

Provides warranty protection on Mercury, Mariner and Force outboards as well as Mercury MerCruiser sterndrives and inboards.
For use on-2- cycle and 4 cycle engines - will not filter out 2- cycle oil.
Removes water and other contaminants from gasoline
